ClayHub NZ – Private Beta Trial Terms

Effective date: 31 October 2026

Private Beta | Invitation Only

Welcome to the ClayHub NZ testing programme. ClayHub NZ is currently under development and is being made available to selected users for evaluation, testing and feedback.

Operator: Doug Bodley, trading as ClayHub NZ.

1. Limited Trial Licence

ClayHub NZ provides selected participants with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the software solely for authorised evaluation and testing.

This trial licence does not grant ownership or distribution rights. Access may be suspended or withdrawn at the operator's discretion.

2. Intellectual Property

All rights in the original ClayHub NZ software, source code, branding, user interfaces, proprietary designs and documentation remain with their respective intellectual property owners.

Participants must not, without written permission, reproduce or distribute protected software material, attempt to reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law, or use confidential ClayHub NZ information to develop a competing product.

3. Confidentiality

Participants agree to keep non-public software features, proprietary workflows, business plans and other confidential trial information confidential.

Participants must not publish screenshots, demonstrate restricted functions to third parties or disclose confidential technical information without prior permission.

These obligations do not apply to information already lawfully public or independently developed without using confidential information.

4. Participant and Club Data

Participants must have appropriate authority to enter, upload or share personal information, including information relating to other shooters.

ClayHub NZ does not claim ownership of shooting clubs' underlying records or participant information merely because those records are entered into the software.

Personal information will be handled under the ClayHub NZ Privacy Policy.

5. Beta Software Limitations

The software is provided for evaluation and may contain defects, incomplete features, inaccurate calculations or service interruptions.

Participants remain responsible for checking shooting results, handicaps, grades, prize calculations and financial records against appropriate official records before relying on them.

6. Feedback and Improvements

Participants are encouraged to provide suggestions, identify errors and recommend improvements.

Participants grant ClayHub NZ permission to use feedback voluntarily submitted through the trial to develop and improve the software without a requirement for payment or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of participants' underlying data.

7. Termination

ClayHub NZ may end the trial, change available functions or revoke individual access.

On termination, the participant's right to access the software ends. Personal information and trial data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy, applicable retention obligations and any agreed data-return arrangements.

8. Liability and Applicable Law

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, ClayHub NZ makes no guarantee that the beta software will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for official competition administration.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.

By accepting these terms, participants acknowledge the limited and confidential nature of the beta trial.
